Babino BSO de Dijk west

Welcome to Babino BSO De Dijk-West, located at Adriaan Roggestraat 14 in Zaandam. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a warm, homely environment. Our location is part of an integrated child centre (IKC) together with primary school OBS De Dijk, working from one shared vision and pedagogical plan. BSO De Dijk-West consists of two base groups: the Yellow Chickadee and the Red Finch. Indoors, children can play in challenging corners, get creative, or simply relax. We have our own outdoor space and also use the schoolyard and gym for sports and play activities. Each day we offer an activity, but there is also plenty of room for free play – because after-school time is children's free time. During holidays, children from De Dijk-West are cared for at our sister location De Dijk-Oost. A varied activity programme is organised for each holiday, including outings. Think of cooking lunch, sports and games, creative activities and trips to the forest, a playground or bowling alley. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment where every child is seen. We align with the school's themes and also offer various sports, music and creative activities. This way we ensure a pleasant and meaningful time after school.
