Atlantis

Atlantis is located inside primary school De Fontein at De Oude Wereld 52 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. Our pedagogical staff collect the children on foot from nearby schools; for schools located further away we use our own (bike) vans or a taxi service. Our BSO is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 18:30, and Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 to 18:30. During school holidays we run holiday care from Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 18:30. Children decide for themselves what they want to do: sports in the gym, joining a creative workshop, cooking together or simply relaxing with friends. We have a spacious outdoor area with a large playground where they can run, cycle or play in the sandpit. Every day we go outside for some fresh air. At Atlantis, staff work across several groups so that children keep seeing familiar faces and quickly feel at home. We use horizontal groups: the BSO children are together in their own group, separate from the younger children in daycare and preschool. You can register for BSO from your child’s third birthday.
