BSO Atelier

BSO Atelier is a warm and secure after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12, located inside the Openbare Brede School Het Atelier at Jac. P. Thijsselaan 100A in Diemen. We make full use of the school’s wonderful spaces: a large indoor area, a dedicated outdoor space, classrooms, a craft room, and even the gym. Each area is arranged with cozy corners so every child can relax and feel at home. Our pedagogical staff follow the “Pedagogisch Hart” framework of Kind & Co Ludens. This means we give children the freedom to develop in their own way. We believe children need to feel happy and have fun, because that creates room for growth. We offer trust and space to explore and be curious. Play is discovery and learning, so we actively provide an inspiring and challenging environment. We care for one another and for the world around us. We organize theme-based activities that let children learn and discover through play. In addition, we make time for extra fun: we celebrate birthdays, mark special days, and regularly take the whole group on excursions. The area around the school offers plenty of opportunities for climbing and outdoor adventure. BSO Atelier works closely with Het Atelier primary school. This partnership ensures a smooth transition between school and after-school care and back again. We are here especially for the children of this school, creating a familiar and safe atmosphere. Our location has room for up to 86 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 September 2023.
