ASC De Sportanen

Welcome to ASC De Sportanen, our small-scale after-school sports care located in the clubhouse of football club Ajax Sportman Combinatie at Abtspoelweg 21 in Oegstgeest. Surrounded by sports fields, we offer up to 55 children aged 4 to 12 a safe, sporty environment where movement, fun and development are central. We open Monday and Tuesday from 14:45 to 18:45, Thursday from 12:00 to 18:45 and Wednesday and Friday from 12:30 to 18:45. Children spend time in a bright, glass group room and a screened-off section of the clubhouse. Right next door are the ASC football pitches and panna court, which we use daily for outdoor play and sports. Our pedagogical staff and sports coaches deliberately use sport and play as a tool for all-round development. By playing football, running, games and discovery together, children learn perseverance, teamwork and experience the joy of success. We don’t stand on the sidelines but actively participate with the children. In this way we not only stimulate their motor skills, but also their social, cognitive and personal growth. The atmosphere is homely and involved. We have an eye for every child and make sure everyone feels seen and safe. Parents experience the communication as pleasant and personal; there is always room for a chat or consultation.
