AquaSwim

AquaSwim is an after-school care facility (BSO) located within the Zwem- en recreatiebad De Kulk swimming and recreation complex at Westlandseweg 200 in Vlaardingen. Since August 27, 2024, this location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register and offers care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO uniquely utilizes the swimming pool facilities. Children can participate in supervised swimming activities, including swimming lessons for diplomas A, B, and C. These lessons are provided by professional swimming instructors in a 25-meter competition pool and a recreational pool featuring a 45-meter slide, current channel, and toddler pool. The focus is on water familiarization and developing swimming skills in a safe and playful environment. In addition to swimming, we offer sports activities such as aqua sports and physical education. The location features an outdoor area and a cozy brasserie where children can relax with a drink or snack. There are no hot meals or special dietary provisions; children bring their own lunch. AquaSwim does not use an app or digital communication. Parents receive information directly from the pedagogical staff. There is no pick-up or drop-off service; parents bring and collect their children themselves. Groups are small and horizontally organized, with children of similar ages cared for together. The BSO is open on school days after school hours and during school holidays. Exact opening hours are aligned with primary school holidays in the region.
