BSO Aquamarijn

Welcome to BSO Aquamarijn, the after-school care that together with Aquamarijn primary school forms one integrated child centre at Turfmarkt 5 in the heart of Zwolle. We are part of CKO KleurRijk and provide care for 84 school-age children from 4 to 13 years old. Because we are literally located in the same building as the school, children step straight into familiar surroundings and faces as soon as the last bell rings. Our pedagogical staff have diverse backgrounds and bring their own talents to organising sports and games, dance, theatre and creative activities. They lovingly convey the Christian values that are central to our child centre. We are open every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; around half past four we sit down on the sofa for a cracker and a drink, after which children can play until they are picked up. We work intensively with the teaching team of Aquamarijn primary school. Based on our shared vision, we speak the same language to the children, offer the same structure and a warm hand-over between school and after-school care is a matter of course. The short lines of communication ensure that we work together towards the same goals that are important for your child. Conversations with parents are also often conducted jointly by education and childcare, so that you have one point of contact for all questions regarding your child's development. Our spacious, green outdoor area offers plenty of room to romp around, while indoors the school's learning plazas can be used by us after school hours. So there is always enough space to play, relax or be actively engaged.
