Kidz United - Amstel Kidz

Amstel Kidz is the after-school care (BSO) of Kidz United, located at Reijgershof 4 in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 attending the Amstelschool. Together with the school and Skillz United we form the golden triangle: we provide sporty lunch-break care, Skillz United delivers movement-based learning and gym classes, and on study days we offer full-day BSO. Our team consists of Kelvin (team leader), Lotte (pedagogical professional), Steven, Rick, Jacky (sport pedagogues) and Ralph (pedagogical professional). We work with a fixed daily rhythm, rituals and clear structure. Each group has an activity board showing the programme, present staff and the children (with their own photo). Children pin their photo next to the activity they choose, encouraging them to make choices, reflect and form opinions. We talk with the children about their views and adjust things when needed. Our location is GGD-inspected and meets all requirements of the Childcare Act. We offer a safe and challenging environment where children can develop and get the best out of themselves.
