2Spelende Beren

Welcome to 2Spelende Beren, our cheerful after-school care centre in the Moerwijk district. We are located at Guntersteinweg 62, right next to the green Overvoorde park. This setting gives us plenty of space to play outside every day—running, climbing, football or simply exploring nature. At 2Spelende Beren we work with a maximum of 36 children per day. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang 2Samen, an organisation that has been providing trusted and safe childcare in The Hague and surrounding areas for many years. Our activity programme is broad and varied. Think of sports and games, crafts, drama, technology, cooking or music. We tailor activities to the children’s interests and make use of the opportunities offered by the local environment. Every week there is room for personal input, so children can choose where they want to put their energy. We pick up children from various primary schools in the neighbourhood and ensure a relaxed transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a listening ear, help with homework when needed and offer a safe place to unwind after the school day. In short, 2Spelende Beren is the place where children can be themselves after school, together with friends, under the guidance of committed professionals.
