2Penselen

2Penselen is a small-scale after-school care facility (BSO) located in the Schilderswijk district in central The Hague. Our BSO is part of the location at Doedijnstraat 8, where we provide a safe and challenging environment for children aged 4 to 12 after school hours. We are part of 2Samen, an organization that has been providing childcare in The Hague and surrounding areas for many years. Our BSO focuses entirely on the needs of school-age children. We pick up children from various primary schools in the area and offer them a warm and familiar environment where they can relax, play, and develop. We work with a permanent team of pedagogical staff who know the children well and understand what they need after a day at school. We offer a varied range of activities that match the children's interests. Think of creative activities, sports and games, but also quiet moments for children who need them. We have a spacious garden where children can play and explore. Additionally, we have a sensory room where children can unwind. At 2Penselen, we believe it's important that children can be themselves. We encourage their independence and teach them to interact with different cultures and backgrounds. Our location is a valuable mix of cultures, just like the neighborhood we are located in. We work closely with parents and schools to tailor the care as well as possible to the needs of each child. We use the Parent app, which keeps parents informed about their child's developments and allows easy contact with our team.
