2Papegaaien

Welcome to BSO 2Papegaaien, our welcoming after-school care located in the heart of the Vogelwijk district in The Hague. We are situated on the first floor of the O.G. Heldringschool building at IJsvogelplein 10, where we welcome children aged 4 to 12 after school in four cheerful after-school groups. Our location is surrounded by abundant greenery, playgrounds, forests and dunes. We use this rich environment every day: we go out to explore, play and move. On our own grounds, children can choose between two challenging and well-organised outdoor play areas. Inside, we have spacious, bright rooms where children can retreat or play together. We work closely with several schools in the area, including O.G. Heldringschool, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical staff offer a varied activity programme. Children are given the freedom to make their own choices and contribute their own ideas. Together we decide what to do that day, from sports and games to crafts or simply enjoying outdoor play. At 2Papegaaien, we believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued. We provide a safe place where children can develop, make friends and have fun. Parents can easily stay in touch through our Parent App and can always contact us with any questions.
