BSO Akkrum

Welcome to BSO Akkrum, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland (KidsFirst). Our location at De Stringen 5 in the centre of Akkrum provides after-school care for 68 children aged 4 to 13. We pick the children up after school and offer them a safe, homely place to play, discover and relax. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff creates a warm atmosphere in which every child feels welcome. During school holidays and study days we are open all day, so parents can always rely on us. BSO Akkrum works closely with the primary schools in the immediate vicinity, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We offer a varied range of activities that match the world of children: from sports and games to crafts and creative projects. Indoors and outdoors, children can choose what they feel like doing. Our spacious garden invites them to romp and explore, while the different corners inside offer either peace or challenge. At BSO Akkrum, child development is central. We follow the pedagogical policy of KidsFirst, which allows room for personal initiative, cooperation and discovering talents. Respect, safety and fun are our core values.
