The Sunrise Club Op Stoom

The Sunrise Club Op Stoom is our small-scale after-school care location at Schreveliusstraat 27 in Haarlem. We provide care for a maximum of 11 children from the International School Haarlem, creating an intimate group where every child quickly feels at home. Our location embodies the typical Op Stoom atmosphere: loving care with attention to children's development, where the process is more important than the result. Children can be completely themselves here. In our garden they develop green fingers while working in the vegetable garden, climb trees and discover insects, worms, toads and salamanders. Inside they create the most insane artworks, play with Kapla building blocks or design something with leftover industrial materials. We regularly organize trips with our Op Stoom vans to places like the Kennemer dunes. Sports, music, drama, technology and crafts are part of our regular offerings. Of course there's also space to simply relax on the couch with a book or comic. Our pedagogical staff are all qualified and have a Certificate of Good Conduct. Your child sees familiar faces every day, as our staff work on fixed days. This way you can be sure your child is in trusted hands. We're open Monday to Friday from the moment school ends until 6:30 PM. During study days and school holidays we're open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Healthy snacks and drinks are included in the price. For a warm meal, you can use our dinner option for an additional cost.
