BSO Achterveld

BSO Achterveld is located inside primary school De Trekvogel at Heemradenlaan 26 in IJsselstein. We provide after-school care in two vertical groups for children aged 4 to 13. The location offers two group rooms and a dedicated homework/computer corner. Children have access to the school’s two outdoor playgrounds where they can play and exercise safely. Our after-school care is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after school hours. For before-school care (VSO) we are available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Parents who need after-school care on Wednesday can use our Schoolwoningen location. During school holidays and study days we organise care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; on Wednesday and Friday the children are usually at the Schoolwoningen location. BSO Achterveld works closely with primary schools De Trekvogel, De Opstap and De Brug (Polderheem location). Children can walk to the BSO through an indoor route from school, ensuring a safe and smooth transition. Our pedagogical staff are ready at the school exit to collect the children and accompany them to the BSO. We tailor our activity programme to the children’s world of experience and provide space for both relaxation and development. After school, children can first relax with a healthy snack and drink, after which they can choose to join an activity, play outside, or quietly do their homework. The vertical group structure allows children of different ages to learn from and play with each other.
