BSO LSV (Leeuwarder Schoolvereniging)

BSO LSV (Leeuwarder Schoolvereniging) is located inside De Leeuwarder Schoolvereniging primary school at Jelsumerstraat 10 in Leeuwarden. We provide after-school care for up to 100 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland and works closely with the school. Children are grouped into three base groups: The Cool Frogs (ages 4–6), The Smart Foxes (ages 7–12) and The Golden Lions (ages 7–12). We use the school’s kindergarten corridor, central hall and playground. The setting is surrounded by nature: a large park, swimming pool, climbing hall and children’s farm are all within walking distance. These facilities allow us to offer varied sports and nature activities. Our TOP programme creates activities that challenge children, stimulate their talents and help them discover new interests. During school holidays we organise excursions such as our annual culinary closing event together with the school. Parents receive a digital newsletter every two weeks with practical information and activity reports. The parent committee is actively involved in special events and policy discussions. Opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 15:00–18:15, Wednesday 12:15–18:15 and Friday 11:45–18:15. Before-school care is available from 07:00–08:30. During holidays and study days we are open all day.
