BRS Kinderopvang, location OG is situated at Van der Aartweg 16 in Haarlem and offers small-scale after-school care (BSO) for up to 33 children aged 4 to 12. Registered as a BSO since 1 March 2023, we are part of BRS Kinderopvang, an organisation active in the Velsen and Haarlem regions. Our pedagogical vision is clear: we aim to provide an upbringing environment that both connects with and complements the upbringing at home. In our BSO, children meet in group settings—playing together, eating together, learning together. By interacting with peers, they experience the impact of their behaviour on others, gain insight into their own feelings, and develop social skills such as sharing, helping, considering others, resolving conflicts and standing up for themselves. Our varied activity programme focuses on sports and games, with movement and enjoyment at its heart. We combine childcare, education and physical activity according to our slogan: “Where learning, playing and moving come together.” Additionally, we strive for educational continuity after school by aligning with academic skills, thereby offering an extra cognitive contribution to each child’s development. Personal guidance is paramount. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe, familiar environment in which every child can flourish. We follow a clear pedagogical policy that forms the basis for optimal and broad development.
