LPS Childcare De Boemerang is located in the Brede School De Boemerang at Philomenahof 33 in Hoogerheide. We are part of the Lowys Porquinstichting (LPS), a strong umbrella organisation that connects more than thirty schools and childcare locations in the region. This connection enables us to work closely with the three primary schools housed in the same building, ensuring a seamless transition between education and childcare. Our toddler care focuses entirely on children aged 2 to 4. We use horizontal groups, so your toddler can play, explore and grow together with peers in a familiar environment. We follow the developmental stimulation programme Uk & Puk, a playful method that gives toddlers the skills they will need at primary school – such as language, numeracy, motor skills and social abilities – always tailored to your child’s pace. At De Boemerang, having fun comes first. We sing songs together, make music with real instruments, do arts and crafts with various materials and regularly bake cookies. Our spacious outdoor play area invites children to run, climb and discover nature. We go outside almost every day, because outdoor play is healthy and stimulates imagination. Children are also given the freedom to make their own choices, which builds self-confidence and teaches independent thinking. We value the relationship with parents highly. In addition to personal contact at drop-off and pick-up, we use a parent portal that allows quick and easy exchange of information. This keeps you involved in your child’s development. Together we ensure that your toddler feels safe, understood and completely at home at De Boemerang.
