Bos-BSO Berezoon

Bos-BSO Berezoon at Postelein 2 in Oisterwijk is the after-school care where children go straight into nature after school. We are an independent BSO that takes small groups of maximum 10 children per supervisor on adventures in the forest, heathland and dunes around Oisterwijk. We provide care for children from primary schools De Elzen, De Tiliander, Panta Rhei, De Stappen and De Nieuwe Linde. With our own Berezoon buses and group bicycles, we take the children to the most beautiful natural spots. We work with two age groups: the Pimpels (4 to 7 years) and the Krakers (8 to 12 years). At Bos-BSO Berezoon, children discover rare beetles, make campfires to cook applesauce over, build huts and experience adventures that get them nicely dirty. Each season offers new play opportunities: in spring we forage and study everything that grows and blooms, in summer we search for water creatures and swim, in autumn we build huts and search for mushrooms, and in winter we make fires to bake bread rolls and sled down hills. Our pedagogical approach focuses on children learning independently: getting to know themselves and taking care of themselves, cooperating, developing creativity and discovering nature. We provide after-school care, during study days and holiday periods.
