BORUS Abcoude

BORUS Abcoude is our daycare center located at Leo Dongelmansstraat 13 in the heart of Abcoude. Since 2012, we provide care for up to 63 children aged 0 to 4 years. The location is housed in its own building, which we share with our after-school care, allowing children to seamlessly transition to BSO after their fourth birthday. We operate with horizontal core groups, where children are grouped by age. This means babies, toddlers, and preschoolers each have their own group to play and develop under the guidance of dedicated childcare professionals. Each core group has a maximum of 16 children, with a maximum of 8 babies under 1 year per group. Our staff-to-child ratio meets all legal requirements: 1 childcare professional per 4 babies, 1 per 5 children aged 1-2 years, and 1 per 8 children aged 2-4 years. The location is situated in a quiet residential area surrounded by meadows with a farm within walking distance. The outdoor space offers ample opportunities for outdoor play and exploration. We are open six days a week and parents can benefit from childcare allowance as we are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 366243135. BORUS Childcare has been a family business since 1997 and has been ISO HKZ certified since 2003. Our headquarters in Uithoorn coordinates all administrative matters, allowing our colleagues in the groups to fully focus on the care and development of your child.
