Boomhut

Welcome to BSO Boomhut, our cheerful after-school care centre in Langenboom. We are located on the ground floor of primary school ’t Stekske at Dominicanenstraat 22, so children from group 3 upwards can walk straight to us after class. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13, both before and after school hours and during all school holidays. At BSO Boomhut we follow the Spring Actief method. Together with the children we design a varied weekly programme packed with sports and games, creative corners and fun excursions. Our spacious group room is divided into different areas, allowing children to choose whatever appeals to them at that moment: burn off energy in the play hall, create something in the creative studio or quietly read a book in the reading corner. We also regularly use the computer room and the gym of the school. Our outdoor space is a major plus. Children climb and clamber on the play equipment, play tag or have a kick-about on the field. During holidays we run a special holiday programme at BSO Ikke in Mill. Extra sports clinics, creative workshops and exciting excursions are on the agenda so no holiday is ever boring. We work closely with primary school ’t Stekske. The school timetable determines our care hours and we align our activities with what is happening at school. This allows us to support children in a targeted way and further develop their talents. Parents decide whether their child stays to play until 16:30 or until 18:30. Feel free to drop by for a tour.
