Welcome to Bommelburcht, our atmospheric daycare center located at Dr. Abraham Kuyperlaan 18B in Bussum. For 25 years, as part of SKBNM, we have been providing a warm second home for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is truly special: a monumental building with stained glass windows, granite stairs and high ceilings that create a unique atmosphere where children immediately feel at home. Everything we do revolves around freedom and discovery. Children have all the space they need to choose their own path under professional guidance. They can play on our low slide, create artwork together in our creative corner, or quietly read a book in our cozy reading nook. Our naturally landscaped garden is a real adventure! The bamboo grove is a favorite for playing hide and seek, the wooden playground equipment is perfect for climbing and clambering, and in the large sandbox we build the most beautiful castles. We believe parents shouldn't have to worry about practical matters. That's why diapers and all meals are included with us. We serve a fresh, warm lunch that is purely organic and sourced from our regular supplier Spoony. For snacks we provide fruit or vegetable snacks, and of course we always have sandwiches and crackers with healthy toppings ready. Our baby groups are located on the ground floor and directly adjoin the garden. This allows the youngest children to safely crawl around while already enjoying the outdoors. We have an extra play hall where we can move and play freely, perfect for developing gross motor skills. Many pieces of furniture are adjusted to child height, so children can independently choose what they need. Through our Parent Portal, parents always stay involved in their child's day. We share photos and keep a diary with all the adventures. For children under 1 year, we also note when they have eaten and slept. This way, parents stay close to their child even while they're at work.
