Bolleboos Peuteropvang

Peuteropvang Bolleboos is located at Minkmaatstraat 324B in Enschede, within the Brede School Oost complex. We are a small-scale toddler care centre with 16 places, part of Stichting Humankind. We welcome children aged 2 to 4 years and prepare them for primary school through play-based learning in a safe and familiar setting. Our programme follows the Piramide method, a recognised early childhood education curriculum. Themes such as animals, seasons, food and health are introduced in ways that are meaningful to young children. Our qualified staff closely monitor each child’s development and provide additional support when needed, in close cooperation with the local child health clinic. Care is offered Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 12:30. We do not provide full-day care; instead, these morning sessions give toddlers the ideal pace to explore structure and group activities. Fruit and drinks are included. Bolleboos is housed in a bright, spacious room with direct access to a private, enclosed outdoor area. Here children can play in the sandpit, ride bikes or enjoy the playhouse. In bad weather we use the school gym, equipped with balls, cushions and hoops. Being located inside the community school building means children quickly become familiar with the school environment and staff, making the eventual transition to primary school much smoother. We work closely with the schools and other partners in the building, such as speech therapists and physiotherapists. Parents stay connected through our parent app, where we share photos, developmental updates and tips, so you can continue the conversation at home.
