Welcome to daycare Boerderij de Balije! A unique childcare facility, distinctive in its appearance alone. You can peek into the location through stable windows, see children playing outside in the yard, and notice the animals. We are located in a beautiful, restored farmhouse at Augustusweg 36 in De Meern. Here we provide care for up to 40 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare consists of three vertical groups with charming names: Chicks, Lambs, and Piglets. The Chicks and Lambs groups accommodate up to 10 children aged 0-3 years, while the Piglets group cares for up to 16 children aged 2-4 years. This vertical group structure means children of different ages play and learn together, where younger children learn from older ones and older children learn to be caring. We believe that growing means developing yourself, discovering who you are and what talents you have. This is a journey of discovery that takes time. At our daycare, your child will embark on this journey in a healthy, safe, and opportunity-rich environment. We offer many outdoor activities where children can play in our spacious garden and get acquainted with our farm animals. This not only stimulates motor development but also fosters a connection with nature. Our pedagogical staff guide children with great joy, professionalism, and dedication. We love to share our knowledge and ensure that each child can develop at their own pace. We work with fixed core groups, meaning your child plays with the same children and the same pedagogical staff every day. This provides peace and recognition, which is important for the development of young children. For practical care, we ensure everything is provided: diapers, wipes, bottle feeding, and care products are included. We also offer healthy meals tailored to your child's age and development. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. For safety, we use an access code at the entrance and work with a parent app through which we provide daily reports on your child's development and experiences.
