Boei Peuteropvang

Peuteropvang De Boei is a warm, colourful meeting place for toddlers aged 2 to 4, located at Spinnerstraat 31 in Enschede. We are part of Humankind, an organisation with over 55 years of experience in providing professional childcare. Everything we do centres on learning through play in a safe and familiar environment. Our site is officially VVE-certified and uses the recognised Uk & Puk complete programme. This means we guide toddlers in their speech and language development, social-emotional growth, motor skills and emerging numeracy. We work in small, same-age groups, giving every child space to develop at their own pace. Toddlers with a VVE referral can receive extra support that is often (partly) reimbursed by the municipality of Enschede. De Boei is designed for toddlers who are ready for a first step outside the home. We offer care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00 and on Wednesday from 08:00 to 13:00. Friday our location is closed. Parents can choose two or four half-day sessions per week, always respecting the familiar home rhythm. Our experienced pedagogical staff are ready to give every child personal attention and to explore the world together. We believe in the power of play and interaction. Our rooms feature different play corners that invite imaginative play, building, reading and being together. We regularly work around a theme – think seasons, traffic or Sinterklaas – so that toddlers learn new words and their curiosity is sparked. Parents are actively involved: each month you receive a themed folder with games and activities to practise at home. At De Boei we find it important that every child feels seen and safe.
