Welcome to BLOS Vlietwal daycare in Nieuwegein, part of BLOS childcare. We provide care for 192 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into 5 horizontal baby groups (0-2 years), 5 horizontal toddler groups (2-4 years) and 2 vertical groups (0-4 years). At our centre your child is free to develop at their own pace in a safe, familiar environment. Our pedagogical staff are ready to lend a helping hand whenever it is needed. A day at BLOS Vlietwal begins with a warm welcome, a hug and shared play. We start the morning with fresh fruit at the table, singing songs and talking about the adventures of the day. Then it is time for an activity: we craft, make music, dance, sing or enjoy free play. The youngest children take a nap in our quiet sleeping areas. Outdoor play is part of our daily routine, whether the sun is shining or the clouds are drifting by. We put on our boots and go exploring in our garden. Through our app parents receive a photo of these special moments, so they can share in their child’s progress. At lunchtime we sit together at the table. We talk and listen to each other, because that is not only cosy but also educational. After a quiet afternoon with a book or free play, we end the day with a small snack and a story or circle game. We believe it is important that children can move (outside) and eat varied meals. Therefore we provide fresh fruit, healthy snacks and necessary care products such as nappies. For the youngest children we adapt to their individual eating and sleeping rhythm until they are ready to switch to the group rhythm. We always coordinate this with the parents. Our location at Vlietwal 1 is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. We cordially invite you to come and see how we help children broaden their horizons step by step.
