Basker - Vijverlaan

Our daycare centre is located on quiet Vijverlaan in the centre of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. In the same building you will also find our after-school care. We work with several horizontal groups: one baby group (0 to 1 year), horizontal groups for 0-2 years, 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 2-4 years and 3-4 years, and one vertical group (0 to 4 years). At BLOS daycare your child is given the freedom to develop in an environment that feels safe and familiar. Step by step, at his or her own pace, your child discovers the world. We encourage children to explore and gain experiences on their own. Our pedagogical staff are ready to lend a helping hand whenever necessary. We value (outdoor) movement and varied meals. A typical day starts with a warm welcome and a hug, followed by playtime together. We sit at the table with fresh fruit, sing songs and talk about the day’s adventures. Next, it is time for activities such as crafts, making music, dancing, singing or free play. The very youngest take a nap in between. Every day we go outside to play, whether it is sunny or cloudy. Through our app we send a photo home so you can see how much fun your child is having. During lunch we sit together, talk and listen to one another. After an afternoon nap or quiet free play there is time for another activity. We eat some vegetables, a crunchy cracker and/or yoghurt. The day ends calmly with reading stories or a circle game, after which your child is picked up with rosy cheeks. Every day is different. At first we follow your child’s individual eating and sleeping rhythm. Only when he or she grows older do we switch to the group rhythm. We always coordinate this with you as a parent.
