Basker - Molenpark

Our small-scale BLOS childcare location Van Riebeeckstraat in Utrecht is located in Kindercampus Molenpark on the edge of Molenpark. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment where every child has the space to develop at their own pace. We work with one horizontal baby group (0-2 years) and one vertical toddler group (0-4 years). This means children play partly in age groups and partly together with children of different ages. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a helping hand and guide the children in discovering the world around them. We believe it's important that children gain their own experiences and learn through play. A typical day starts with a warm welcome and a hug. Then it's time for shared breakfast with fresh fruit and singing songs. We craft, make music, dance and sing. The youngest ones take a nap in our quiet sleeping areas in between. Outdoor play is an important part of our day, as we believe movement in fresh air is essential for children's development. We work with our own app through which we daily send photos and messages to parents. This way parents can enjoy their child's experiences. Our location offers pre-school education (VE), through which we prepare children for primary school in a playful manner. We work closely with parents to align with each child's individual eating and sleeping rhythm. Our opening hours are from 7:30 to 18:30, Monday through Friday. We are located in Kindercampus Molenpark, with which we form an integral child center. This offers the possibility of a seamless transition from childcare to primary education when your child turns 4.
