Basker – Utrechtseweg

Centrally located in Zeist, on a historic estate at Utrechtseweg 64, you will find our daycare centre BLOS Utrechtseweg. We provide care for 91 children aged 0 to 4 in a homely environment where laughing, sharing and having fun together are central. Our groups are carefully composed: three horizontal baby groups (0-2 years), one vertical toddler/preschool group (1-4 years) and two preschool groups (2-4 years). This allows us to seamlessly match each child's stage of development. In the beginning we follow your child's rhythm; only later do we gradually switch to the group rhythm, always in consultation with you. A day with us starts with a warm welcome, a hug and free play. At the table we enjoy fresh fruit and sing songs. Then it's time for activities: we craft, make music, dance, sing or choose free play. The very youngest take a nap in our quiet sleeping areas. Playing outside is of course part of it, sunny or cloudy. Through our app you receive a photo so you can enjoy along. During lunch we share stories and experiences. After a quiet moment there is a second activity, followed by a crunchy cracker or yogurt. We end the day quietly with reading aloud or a circle game. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a helping hand and guide children to discover and experience for themselves. We find exercise and varied food important. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 180383516) and are under the supervision of the GGD Region Utrecht, so you can apply for childcare allowance.
