Welcome to BLOS daycare centre Sculpturentuinlaan, located right in the heart of Vleuten. Our centre consists of three spacious, homelike ‘daycare houses’, each with its own entrance. Because we are situated in the middle of a green residential area, children can play safely in our natural garden and the surrounding playgrounds. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years and have a total of 79 places, divided into horizontal groups so that babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and develop in age-specific groups. At BLOS we follow the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Startblokken’. Our pedagogical staff closely monitor each child’s development and tailor activities and guidance to the child’s individual needs. We offer a warm, safe environment with room for discovery, movement and relaxation. Every day we provide a steady rhythm with familiar faces, so children quickly feel at home. Plenty of attention is given to language, motor skills and social abilities, always adapted to the child’s age and pace. Our centre is spacious and bright. Each group room has its own sleeping area with cots and playpens, allowing the youngest children to sleep peacefully. Sleeping outdoors in our secure garden is also possible. We serve healthy, warm meals and fresh snacks, taking allergies and dietary requirements into account. Parents can choose flexible childcare: full days, half days or a combination, tailored exactly to your work and family life. We believe it is important for parents to stay involved. Therefore we regularly organise parent meetings and you are always welcome to drop in for a chat or a tour. Our door is literally and figuratively open. Together we ensure that your child comes to BLOS with a smile and leaves with a BLOS on his or her face.
