BLOS Prinses Irenestraat

Welcome to BLOS Prinses Irenestraat, our small-scale daycare center located in the basement of the Thomas Church in the Zuidas area of Amsterdam. In this special location, housed in a characteristic church building from the 1960s, we provide care for up to 26 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location consists of four bright spaces with a total area of 175 m², specially designed for both baby groups and toddler groups. The layout of the spaces is tailored to the developmental needs of the different age groups, with each group having its own familiar place. As part of BLOS childcare, we stand for small-scale, personal care where every child has the space to develop at their own pace. Our professional pedagogical staff create a safe and stimulating environment where children can play, discover and grow. The unique location in the church basement offers a quiet and sheltered environment, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still right in the middle of the Zuidas. This makes our location particularly suitable for parents who work in the area and are looking for reliable childcare close to their work. We offer both full-day care and half days, allowing us to flexibly respond to the needs of working parents. Our horizontal group structure means that children come together in age groups, which contributes to their social development and the feeling of safety and recognition.
