Welcome to BLOS childcare Koningsweg 226, our location in the heart of Utrecht where every day is a new adventure. We provide care for 102 children across seven groups: three horizontal baby groups (0-2 years), two horizontal toddler groups (2-4 years), and one vertical group (0-4 years). This allows us to always meet your child's specific needs. At our location, your child has the space to develop at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff are ready to lend a helping hand when needed, but mainly let children discover and experience things themselves. We believe that movement and varied nutrition are important for healthy development. That's why we go outside every day, regardless of the weather. Rain or shine, we simply dress appropriately and go on discovery in our garden. A typical day starts with a warm welcome and a hug. At the table we eat fresh fruit while singing songs and discussing the day ahead. Then it's time for activities: we craft, make music, dance and sing, or choose free play. The littlest ones take naps in our quiet sleeping areas in between. Through our app we keep parents updated with photos and messages, so you can see how your child is experiencing their day. We work with both horizontal and vertical groups. This means your child can grow up in a familiar environment with familiar faces, while also learning from different ages. Our baby groups offer peace and regularity, while the toddler groups provide more challenge with activities that match their curiosity and development. At BLOS we believe children develop best when they feel safe and secure. That's why we pay great attention to creating a warm, homely atmosphere where every child can be themselves. We work closely with parents and adjust eating and sleeping schedules to what your child is used to at home. Only as your child gets older do we gradually transition to the group schedule. Our location is open Monday through Friday from 7:15 AM to 6:30 PM. We believe it's important for you as a parent to stay involved in your child's development. That's why we regularly offer parent meetings and you can always drop by for a chat. Together we ensure your child gets the very best start.
