Basker - Monacopad

Welcome to BLOS daycare Monacopad, located in the friendly Europawijk neighbourhood of Haarlem. We are part of BLOS childcare, an organisation that believes in the power of discovering and developing at one's own pace. With us, everything revolves around providing a safe, homely environment where children aged 0 to 4 are given the space to broaden their horizons step by step. Our location at Monacopad 1 has 40 childcare places divided over three horizontal groups: a group for the youngest ones from 0 to 2 years, a group for children from 0 to 2.5 years, and a group for older toddlers from 2 to 4 years. This structure ensures we can properly align with each child's developmental stage. We believe it's important that children have the freedom to discover and gain experiences themselves, while our pedagogical staff are ready to lend a helping hand when needed. At BLOS Monacopad, we work with a thoughtful approach based on the latest pedagogical insights. We encourage children to make their own choices and try new things. Our activities are focused on stimulating development through play. We do crafts, make music, dance, sing, and enjoy free play. The youngest ones receive the rest and attention they need, including their well-deserved naps. Movement and healthy nutrition are high on our priority list. We go outside every day to play, regardless of the weather. Children receive fresh fruit and varied meals. We initially align eating and sleeping schedules with your child's rhythm and gradually transition to the group schedule, in consultation with you as a parent. We keep you informed about your child's experiences through our app, giving you a glimpse into your child's day so you can share in all the discoveries and happy moments. At BLOS Monacopad, we work together with parents to give every child a good start, so they can confidently step into their new world.
