Basker - Karawanken

Welcome to BLOS childcare Karawanken, our spacious and versatile location at Karawanken 1 in Utrecht. We provide childcare for 152 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our location features various themed spaces specifically designed for the developmental needs of young children. Think of a creative studio where children can be artistic, a music room where we sing and make music together, and a gym where children can move and play. We work with horizontal groups, where babies, toddlers and preschoolers are cared for in separate age groups. This means our pedagogical staff can fully focus on the specific needs of each age group. For the youngest ones we have quiet sleeping areas with cribs and playpens, while toddlers can play in more challenging spaces. Our outdoor space is a true playground where children can romp, build sandcastles and discover nature. We believe it's important for children to spend lots of time outdoors and learn about nature. Therefore, we regularly organize nature excursions in the immediate area. At BLOS Karawanken we work with VVE (preschool education) programs focused on language development and social skills. We read picture books daily, sing songs and play language games. We also pay attention to creative development through crafts, painting and building. We provide full care, including diapers, wipes, bottle feeding and warm meals. For children with allergies or special dietary needs, we naturally prepare appropriate meals. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff is ready every day to provide your child with a safe and loving place where they can develop optimally.
