Basker - J.P. Coenstraat

BLOS J.P. Coenstraat is a small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Utrecht’s Lombok district. We are housed in a characteristic building: a former post office that we have lovingly transformed into a warm, safe place for up to 25 children aged 0 to 4. The centre is just a stone’s throw from Julianapark, where we regularly take the children to visit the petting zoo. These outings are a fixed part of our daily programme and give the children the opportunity to explore nature and interact with animals. Thanks to our limited size we know every child – and their parents – personally, allowing us to respond to individual needs and create a close-knit community.
