Welcome to BLOS Hildebrandstraat, our professional after-school care in the heart of Amsterdam Oud-West. In our characteristic building at Hildebrandstraat 2, we offer 60 childcare places divided over 3 groups. This location is specially designed for children aged 4 to 12 who need a safe, stimulating environment after school. Our BSO distinguishes itself through the unique facilities we offer. With our own theater hall, sports room and living kitchen, we create daily new opportunities for development and discovery. These spaces are carefully designed to stimulate creativity and playful learning. Our pedagogical staff guide children in discovering new things, making their own choices and developing social skills. We work according to a clear pedagogical policy with the child at the center. Our approach focuses on stimulating independence and developing talents. Children learn about themselves, others and the world around them through targeted activities and free play opportunities. Every child can be themselves with us and is encouraged to discover their own path. The location is perfectly situated near Vondelpark, which gives us the opportunity to regularly use the outdoor space for sports activities and nature experiences. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 18:30 and provide care during school weeks. For practical matters such as reporting absence and requesting extra days, we use the handy BLOS parent app. This way, parents always stay informed and matters can be easily arranged.
