Welcome to BLOS After-School Care Damlaan 2A in Leiden! Our location is set on spacious grounds next to the Morschkwartier playground association, a green spot where children aged 4 to 13 can play, explore and learn every afternoon. Each afternoon starts with a moment to unwind: we chat about the school day and make a plan together. What did you experience today? What gives you energy right now? Then every child chooses which activity to join. Drawing, building, sports or just reading in a quiet corner – it’s all allowed. Our pedagogical staff are ready to join in, think along and above all enjoy the moment. We believe children develop through adventure. Discovering new things, making their own choices, alone or together with friends. Our staff combine playfulness with knowledge and expertise. They really want to teach children something, in a playful way. About themselves, about others and about the world around them. Every child is free to be themselves. For sporty kids there is also Club BLOS Sport: trying a different sport every day, from football to climbing and from gymnastics to tag in the woods. All to make sure children go home full of energy and with a smile. After school, children are collected by our own pedagogical staff. Depending on the distance, this is done on foot, by bike or with our own minibus. We work together with schools in the immediate area, so children can travel safely and confidently from school to after-school care. Our location has 28 places for children, divided into two groups. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Would you like to drop by? You are more than welcome for a tour.
