Peuteropvang Blokkentoren is located at Sleedoorn 40 in Poortugaal and is part of Gro-up, a nationwide organisation with more than 25 years of experience in small-scale, high-quality childcare. Everything we do revolves around the child: we provide a safe, familiar place where toddlers aged 2 to 4 can develop through play and be optimally prepared for primary school. Our groups are horizontally structured, so children play and learn together in age-based groups. We deliberately keep the groups small with fixed pedagogical staff; every morning four enthusiastic teachers are ready for a maximum of 45 children. Thanks to this small scale we know each child and their parents well and can respond quickly to individual needs. Language development is central to our programme. While the children build, craft or play hide-and-seek with friends, they are unconsciously practising words, sentences and social skills. We follow the government-recognised pre-school education programme (VE), ensuring your child starts primary school with a solid foundation. Our playgroup is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 08:30 to 12:00.
