Blokkendoos

Welcome to peuteropvang (toddler care) Blokkendoos, located in Buurtplein De Doorslag at Parelduiker 13 in Nieuwegein. We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 4 years, where learning through play is central. Our spacious, bright room is set up with different corners: a home corner, a construction play area and a quiet corner with a cosy sofa. Every day we go outside, because outdoor play is just as important as indoor activities. We follow the Pedagogisch Hart (Pedagogical Heart) of Kind&Co Ludens. This approach rests on four pillars: a child should feel happy and have fun, it is given trust and space to grow and discover, we offer a rich environment full of challenges and we learn to live together in our mini-society. This ensures every child feels safe and valued. Our toddler group is an official Early Childhood Education (VE) group. We use the Uk & Puk method, which stimulates language development in a playful way through varied themes. Think of stories, songs and activities around familiar topics that connect with the world of toddlers. This pre-school education gently prepares your child for primary school.
