Bloesemboom

De Bloesemboom is a childcare centre located in the Voordijkshoorn district of Delft, at Sasboutstraat 3. We provide after-school care (BSO) and before-school care (VSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Our centre is housed in a beautiful new building with a green, cosy atmosphere. We work with small groups to ensure every child receives personal attention. After school, children are welcomed into a homely environment where they quickly feel at ease. We value child participation: the activity programme is discussed and decided together with the children. Our activities focus on relaxation, creative development, and recharging energy. We regularly cook and bake together, often using vegetables and fruit grown by the children themselves in our garden. This way, they experience the full process from planting to harvesting. During school weeks, our BSO is open from the end of the school day until 18:00. We also offer before-school care from 07:00. During school holidays, we are open from 08:00 to 18:00 with a special holiday programme full of fun and educational activities. On school study days, we are open on request. Our location has its own discovery garden where children can play and learn about nature every day. We provide a warm, vegetarian lunch freshly prepared daily. We also recently introduced the Early Birds programme, where children are introduced to the English language in a playful way.
