Bixo Kinderopvang Apeldoorn De Regenboog Woudhuis (KDV)

At Bixo KDV Apeldoorn Regenboog we provide small-scale daycare for children aged 0 to 4. Our location is on the ground floor of primary school Regenboog Woudhuis at Lage Landenlaan 1 in Apeldoorn. We operate one vertical group with a maximum of 12 children at a time, offering a safe, familiar and challenging environment. The room is furnished in a homely style and has its own enclosed outdoor play area. Our regular pedagogical staff welcome babies and toddlers every morning. We follow a clear daily routine with fixed moments for play, meals, sleeping and outdoor time. During nap time we use separate sleeping areas so every child can rest undisturbed. We deliberately choose small-scale care: this allows us to know every child and every parent personally. Our location manager works on the group herself and is therefore always directly approachable. We tailor our activities to the world of experience of young children: crafting with safe materials, singing and moving to music, cooking and baking in our children’s kitchen, and exploring in the nature garden. Thanks to our unique location within the school we can connect with school themes at an early stage. Toddlers are given the opportunity to get to know the kindergarten classes in an informal way, making the transition to grade 1 later on smooth. We work closely with the teachers of Regenboog Woudhuis and regularly exchange information about your child’s development.
