Ska Kindcentrum Binnenstebuiten

Childcare centre Binnenstebuiten is a day-care facility run by Stichting Ska Kinderopvang, located at Disselplein 8 in Hooglanderveen, right between primary school Sint Joseph and sports centre De Dissel. The site is easily reached by car, bicycle or on foot and offers ample parking on the adjacent square. We provide care for up to 80 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our day-care works closely with education, creating a continuous line from 0 to 4 years. We share a common vision in which playing, optimism, wonder, involvement and belief in one’s own ability are key. Young children learn through play in a rich play and learning environment that is set up together with the children. We offer a safe pedagogical climate, plenty of room for movement, nature and creativity, carefully chosen themes and a rich language offer supported by gestures. We deliberately use few chairs and tables; play takes place on the floor and in the corners. Parents and carers experience short lines of communication and are always welcome. Binnenstebuiten aims to prepare children well for their future and their role in society. We strive for children to develop into socially involved, authentic, happy people and thus resilient world citizens.
