Binkies

Welcome to BSO Binkies, our homely after-school care located at Van Strijlandstraat 6 in the centre of Hilversum. We are part of Bink Kinderopvang, a trusted organisation with more than 30 years of experience in providing childcare that truly fits both children and parents. At Binkies we work with one permanent base group of up to 10 children aged 4 to 12. This small-scale set-up gives us the space to give every child real attention every day. We pick the children up from SBO Het Mozaïek, just around the corner. Afterwards there is always time for free play – inside in our cosy group room or outside on the spacious playground of the school. You will find climbing frames, football goals, a sports field and a traffic garden where children can cycle safely. After free play we enjoy a healthy snack and a drink together. We then offer two activities that children can choose from themselves. Think of cooking, crafts, dancing, making music or drama. We use pictograms so that even young children understand what is on the programme. Our pedagogical staff are ready to join in, guide or simply lend a listening ear. BSO Binkies is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until 6.30 pm. During the school holidays we are of course also there. We believe it is important that children feel safe, seen and valued here. That is why we work with a fixed mentor for each child, we monitor development in consultation with the school and we share every day how it went.
