Scharrelpeuters Bij ZON! Thuis

Bij ZON! Thuis Scharrel Peuters is our small-scale, nature-focused toddler care located at Sionsdreef 4 in Den Hoorn. We provide care for up to 24 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our location is uniquely designed as a true exploration place where children can discover every morning from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The day always starts together around a real campfire, after which we visit all the animals on our grounds to say good morning. Our children get to know chickens, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs and even snakes and turtles up close, and are allowed to cuddle and care for them. In our own vegetable garden we grow vegetables, bake sand pies in the mud kitchen and go on adventures through the toddler forest. We believe that by being outdoors a lot and coming into contact with nature, children develop their senses and motor skills optimally. At ZON! Thuis we find it important that children can be themselves and get the space to discover who they are. We work from the conviction that every child is unique and stimulate self-confidence by challenging children: "If you've never done it before, you'll probably be able to!" Our half-day care allows parents to use childcare allowance while their children gain a valuable and enriching experience.
