Bij Miek

Bij Miek is a small-scale childcare facility located at Middendijk 3B in the rural area of Kampen. We provide care in two unique buildings: De Hooiberg (The Haystack) and De Kapschuur (The Shed). These locations create a homely atmosphere where children feel safe and secure. We highly value quality, professionalism and individual attention. Our spacious play areas, carefully designed indoor spaces and extensive outdoor area offer plenty of opportunities for development and discovery. Nature and the seasons are central to our daily activities. We introduce children to everything nature has to offer in a playful way. At Bij Miek we work with vertical groups. Babies and toddlers learn from and with the older children. Preschoolers develop empathy and learn to take the little ones into account. After the baby/toddler group in De Hooiberg, children move to the preschool group in De Kapschuur. When a child turns 4 and goes to school, we provide after-school care with the same familiar faces. Continuity is very important to us. By working with familiar faces, we create a close and trusted group composition. This contributes to the safety and security of your child. Our pedagogical work plan serves as a guide in daily practice. This policy plan can be viewed at the childcare facility and on our website. Childcare Bij Miek is open every weekday, except for national holidays. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years.
