Kindcentrum Blijvliet

Kindcentrum Blijvliet is located at Hillevliet 96 in Rotterdam and offers after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12, in addition to public primary education. The BSO is part of the centre’s broad developmental approach: children are given the space to play, explore and continue learning after school hours. Pre-school care begins at 7:00 a.m. and after-school care runs until 6:30 p.m., giving parents flexibility in their working hours. The BSO is housed in the same building as the primary school, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from classroom to after-school activities. The rooms are safe and inviting, with ample opportunities for both rest and movement. A maximum of 32 children can be accommodated per session. The pedagogical staff from KindeRdam – the organisation providing the BSO at this location – work from a clear vision: children are given control over their own time, with play, creativity and social skills at the heart of the programme. Children can choose from a variety of activities such as crafts, construction, games or simply relaxing. There is also plenty of opportunity for outdoor play in the playground adjacent to the building.
