Bij de Boerderij

Welcome to Bij de Boerderij, our small-scale after-school care located in a unique spot in Sassenheim. We provide care for up to 10 children aged 4 to 13. Our home is set in a historic farmhouse at Rijksstraatweg 71, where children can play, explore, and unwind after school in a natural environment with meadows, animals, and a large garden. Our focus is on peace, space, and personal attention. Children have plenty of time to be outdoors, run around the garden, interact with the farm animals, or simply relax in our cozy group space. We work with a consistent team of childcare professionals who know every child and give them room to be themselves. No large groups—just a warm, homely place where everyone feels welcome. Our location is officially registered as after-school care (BSO) and meets all legal requirements. We pick up children from primary schools in Sassenheim and the surrounding area and ensure they spend their free time in a safe and familiar setting. No fuss—just playing, being outside, and doing fun things together. That’s Bij de Boerderij.
