SamSam Muzieknoot

Welcome to SamSam Muzieknoot, our small-scale daycare centre located at Fideliolaan 316 in Amstelveen. We are part of SamSam International Childcare and care for a maximum of 16 children in one vertical group from 0 to 4 years old. Our bright, spacious group room is carefully designed for babies, toddlers and preschoolers alike. The youngest ones find calm spots to observe and discover the world, while older children enjoy climbing frames and inspiring play corners. We work extensively with natural, open-ended materials—wooden discs, pinecones, stones—that spark imagination and leave room for personal interpretation. Independence and autonomy are central to our approach: children choose their own activities, drink from a real porcelain cup and receive guidance while dressing themselves or solving small conflicts. The vertical group means children grow up together for four years with the same permanent staff. Younger children learn from the older ones, while the older children develop patience and responsibility by helping the little ones. We go outside every day; nature is our greatest teaching resource. Sensory-motor activities, music and language development are woven playfully into the day. All our pedagogical staff speak both Dutch and English, so your child grows up in a safe, international environment. Parents can easily arrange changes or extra days through the Konnect ParentApp and are always welcome to contact our team directly.
