Welcome to Norlandia childcare De Noordster, a warm and cozy daycare centre located in the Noord-Hofland district of Voorschoten. Children aged 0 to 4 experience a new adventure every day. We are a small-scale location where everyone knows each other by name and your child will quickly feel at home. At De Noordster we believe in the power of outdoor play. We have a beautiful natural garden where children build sandcastles, help in the vegetable garden or romp around with friends. On the square they experience the outside world: cycling, playing and making their first friends. When it rains, the adventure moves to our spacious hall, where there is just as much fun to be had. Our groups are arranged by age: baby group the Zeeparels (0-2 years), the Zee-egels (2-4 years) and the Zeeschelpen (3-4 years). Each group has fixed pedagogical staff, including at least one baby specialist who knows everything about baby development. In addition, each child has their own mentor who closely follows the development and organises a parent meeting annually. For our toddlers we offer the Uk & Puk programme: a special educational programme that playfully prepares toddlers for primary school. We work with themes that match their world of experience and stimulate curiosity and independence. We value sustainability. Our children learn from an early age to take care of our earth: separating waste, eating healthy and limiting food waste. We call this GoGreen!
