Best 4 Kids – Buitenkans is located at Kakertsweg 85 in Landgraaf and is the after-school care centre where adventure, freedom and growth come together. Our house stands in the middle of greenery, right on the edge of the forest, so children can run straight into nature after school. We offer space for a maximum of 22 school-age children from 4 to 12 years old and have been registered in the National Childcare Register since 8 February 2024 under number 197817646. Our pedagogy is inspired by Reggio Emilia: we see children as naturally curious and creative researchers. Together we create a world in which they can cook and enjoy themselves at the campfire, play on the large lawn, walk into the forest through our secret gate, get creative in the covered outdoor studio and share homemade treats. These adventures form the core of our programme and make every afternoon special. We safely pick up children from De Schatgraver Primary School, De Wegwijzer Primary School, De Harlekijn Primary School, De Speurneus Primary School, Wereldwijs Primary School and Helianthus Molenberg Steiner School. Parents therefore do not have to worry about transport; we ensure that every child is welcomed from the school gate into our green oasis. Almost forty years of experience in childcare is in our DNA. We use this knowledge to provide a familiar, safe place where children can be themselves and discover their talents. Would you like to get to know us?
