Welcome to Berne-opfang It Boefke, located in the former police station on Eksterstrjitte in De Westereen. We are easily accessible, including from Twijzelerheid and Zwagerbosch, and offer ample parking. Our focus is on creating a safe, homely environment where children feel at home right away. We have a beautiful natural garden where children can play outside every day. In our vegetable garden, they learn to grow their own vegetables and experience how nature grows and blooms. We encourage daily movement with tools like a crawling tunnel and a Hippie Skippie. Our team consists of familiar, dedicated faces. Tineke Spoelstra, owner and mother of three, has 10 years of experience as a preschool teacher and tutor for children needing extra developmental support. Together with her sister Selma and pedagogical staff member Anna, we ensure every child feels safe and free to be themselves. We follow a clear pedagogical policy carried out by our entire team. Since 2025, all our staff have obtained their VVE certificate, allowing us to optimally support your child’s development. At Berne-opfang It Boefke, we offer everything parents and children need.
