Berend Botje De Goorn, location De Droomgaard BSO is housed in the modern child centre De Droomgaard at Buitenroede 12 in Avenhorn. As part of Kindercentrum Berend Botje De Goorn we provide after-school care for up to 88 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 5 August 2021 under number 108098497 and is supervised by the GGD Hollands-Noorden. Within child centre De Droomgaard we work closely with primary schools De Ieveling and De Sprankeling. This collaboration allows children to use the facilities of the entire centre straight after school, such as the gym hall, the learning plaza and the outdoor areas. Each BSO group has its own dedicated space where children can store their belongings and relax in a familiar setting. In addition, there are shared instruction rooms and studios that we use flexibly for creative, sports and cultural activities. Our pedagogical staff are ready to collect children from the connected primary schools and give them a safe, challenging afternoon. We offer before-school care from 7 a.m. and after-school care until late afternoon, also on study days and school holidays. The programme is varied and matches the world of children: from outdoor play and sports to crafts, technology and nature activities. Thanks to the proximity of the schools and the shared spaces, children experience a smooth transition from school to childcare and quickly feel at home in De Droomgaard.
